About

Hello, I’m Gwendolen.

Photographer — Melbourne

I’m a Melbourne photographer, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Photography) from RMIT.

My training is in art photography — making bodies of work, thinking hard about light, and paying attention to people and the spaces they move through. Most of the photographs on this site come from that study.

I bring the same approach to freelance work. At an event, I keep to the edges of the room so people stay themselves. In a portrait sitting, I take my time, so you can forget the camera is there. And when an artist or organisation needs their work documented, I treat it with the care I’d want for my own.

If you have something in mind, I’d be glad to hear about it.

2. On the day

I arrive early, learn the space and keep out of the way. You get on with your event — I’ll look after the pictures.

3. Your photographs
